For our offices in Tirana, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. What will you do?
As part of the Assist Digital DevOps Team, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, together with experienced AI & SW Architect, AI/Backend/Frontend Engineers, Product Owners and other stakeholders, to contribute to deliver powered projects. Your responsibilities:
Active participation in the software development process at all stages, with a specific focus on the implementation of security practices.
Creation of new paths to identify security issues within existing processes and develop effective solutions.
Compliance and application of the company's security regulations and standards during all stages of development and implementation.
Training and guidance of technical staff on issues related to security in software development.
Working closely with other technical teams to ensure the effective implementation of security procedures and protocols.
Implementation of ci/cd pipeline on Gitlab
Implementation of monitoring systems
Managing of infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools
Who are you?
You have:
At least 3 years of experience in the role
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking
Aptitude to quickly learn new technologies and security principles
Time-management and work-prioritization skills
Experience with build systems like Jenkins and Maven
Strong skills on Git
Good knowledge of development best practices
Good knowledge of network protocols and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google
Cloud)
Experience with security monitoring and log tools (ELK, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace)
Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
Fluency in Italian (both verbal and written)
Nice to have:
Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript
Skills in Linux, Unix, Docker
Familiarity with security and compliance tools (Black Duck, SonarQube, Fortify, Snyk, etc.)
Previous experience managing security in software development or in a similar role
Previous experience in a DevSecOps environment
Experience with k8s
Vendor-specific cloud certifications, like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft
Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
