Mobile IP Core Specialist

Purpose of Position:

Implement and maintain the Mobile IP Core network.


Main Duties


  • Work with a team on an out-of-hours on-call support rota;
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment in Mobile IP Core network; perform fault and performance management to ensure services are maintained according to the levels defined;
  • Work with vendors and service providers to restore network devices and services.
  • Monitor network, resources utilization & draft reports on services performance, and Mobile IP Core KPIs;
  • Ensure documentation, inventory, monitoring and configuration backup of the network devices;
  • Prepare and execute work orders related with existing and new services provisioning.
  • Participate in projects implementations related with Mobile IP Core;
  • Participate in mobile Core and RAN projects implementations;

Skills


  • Must have knowledge on network administration and operation (TCP/IP, Switching & Routing, Networking, LAN & WAN);
  • Experience with Nokia ALU SR routers, Cisco switches/routers, and fiber optic cabling inside data centers;
  • Very good Computer and MS office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio);
  • Very good knowledge of technical English;
  • Available work for over-time and/or night shift activities;
  • Valid Driving Licence;


Experience


  • At least 2 years of previous experience in Telecommunication and ISP area;


Education


  • University Degree in Electronic Engineering, ICT or Telecommunications
