Description
Role purpose:
• Providing commercial, strategic, and financial expertise to drive the best decisions, maximising the return on resources and investment.
• Driving effective financial control processes, insightful financial planning, and value-oriented support to the business functions.
Job Responsibility
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Planning cycle: Contribute to, challenge, and validate the budget for revenue and costs for the supported commercial unit, ensuring the forecast submission is aligned with the business strategy
• Reporting: Be responsible for the financial performance of the supported commercial unit, review and analyse revenues and costs, understand variances, and suggest actions to improve financial performance
• Business case development: Develop commercially viable business cases that align with Vodafone’s strategic goals
Interpret the risk, strategic cost, and revenue implications of strategic business decisions
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Strong financial analysis ability, financial modelling skills, advanced Excel
• Commercial understanding and ability to translate operational drivers into financial plans
• Strong communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management.
• Delivery focus and ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholders demands
• Strong team player: align to and work towards the goals of the entire team/organisation
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration or with relevant experience in Finance
