Description
Manage the long range plan, budget and forecast processes for the company. Responsible for target setting, resource and challenge allocation, and monthly performance monitoring.
Job Responsibility
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Translate business strategies into plans, budgets and financial and operational targets (P&L, KPIs, CapEx, B/S, Cash Flow and Working Capital)
• Support the LRP, Annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes defining the calendar, models, and best practices
• Submit the overall LRP and Budget scenarios to Group
• Co-ordinate and prepare analysis that provides insight on the overall business performance of the company
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and presentations where required to assist in management decision making
• Support the company’s decision making through cross functional activities such as governance, treasury, group tax planning and regulatory requirements
• Ensure alignment on statutory information, Group requirements and other stakeholder requirements
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Financial and Managerial Accounting (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Corporate Finance
• Business Partnering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, with a minimum of 2 years in managing positions
• Telecoms industry knowledge
• Knowledge of SAP and EPM/OHP is an advantage
• CFA or ACCA is an advantage
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Master Degree (3+2 years) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solver
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Good command of written and spoken English.
