IMS Specialist

Purpose of Position:

Responsible for all planning/operations activity and all services/applications related to all IMS platforms and NVFI.

Main Duties

  • Network Performance Management for vIMS domain with all its nodes and services (CSCF, BGF, SBC, MRF, MTAS, IP Works, AFG, NELS);
  • Responsible for IMS Network optimization, Network expansion & Software Upgrade, Configuration, Testing and Troubleshooting;
  • Analyzing the Network KPIs/KQIs for Improving network performance;
  • Provide technical analysis/suggestion to PM (Project Manager) during project planning or project execution;
  • Support in Implementing solutions and integration with other network elements connected to IMS or related to its services;
  • Coordinate and ensure Network issues resolutions and VoLTE service functionality within the committed SLA;
  • Troubleshooting VoLTE service and incident recovery and onsite operation;
  • Leads the problem management process, identifies repetitive anomalies and look for solutions;
  • Knowledge of Protocol SIP/ Diameter/ H.248/ISUP/ SIGTRAN /M3UA/SCCP;
  • Responsible for NFVI optimization/ expansion & Software Upgrade, Configuration, Testing and Troubleshooting related to NFVI- IMS connectivity part;
Skills

  • Good knowledge of methods for delivering telecommunication services;
  • Good knowledge of signaling protocols and interfaces like Camel/MAP/SIP/Diameter, H.248/ISUP/ SIGTRAN /M3UA and SCCP routing, voice routing etc.
  • Very Good knowledge of English language
  • Communicative, team player, problem solving, Willing to work under pressure, Available to work overtime when necessary, Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
Education

  • University Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering;
Experience

  • At least 2 years in the same profile/industry;
