Description
The role is responsible to deliver D&IT related projects with special focus on security domain. Ensure consistent capturing and prioritization of the project scope, regular alignment, prioritization and reporting of progress and status. Support annual planning cycle as well as structuring, capturing and estimation of the demand on an ongoing basis and mapping of the demand against agreed plan and resource base. Facilitate regular communication channels and forums to align on planned activities in the day to day operations and release management.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Responsible for investigating, documenting and reporting cyber security breaches in line with Vodafone policy
• Manage understanding, delivery planning, follow-up and coordination of security policy compliance requirements
• Create awareness of cyber security trends, regular alignment with Cyber security team
• Responsible for security baseline implementation and follow-up during the project phase ( user & infrastructure )
• Responsible to follow-up and coordinate vulnerability management with VMaaS , vendor and local technical teams for IT infrastructure locally and in group DC
• Responsible to coordinate hardening process with VCI , vendor & local technical teams
• Responsible to coordinate and track status of security vulnerabilities ( CSAN and other flash vulnerabilities received by Technology Security ) ensuring fixes are delivered in time
Job Responsibility
• Responsible to support release management planning and coordination
• Manage a group of subject matter experts working with the business units regarding their IT demand and IT deliveries
• Tracking approved security risk assessments delivery planning and implementation
• To initiate, participate and contribute (at a high level) to ongoing business activity which will create substantial D&IT demand
• Initiate and execute intra departmental communication and improvement activities to ensure maximum alignment of the D&IT with stakeholder priorities and facilitate demand capturing.
• Support the build of overall demand pipeline on an annual basis as well as in an ongoing basis (mapped against annual plan).
• Develop and maintain a project and enhancement roadmap aligned with stakeholder priority, D&IT capacity, technical dependencies and ongoing project portfolio.
• Capture new demand and ensure structured and high quality of demand’s scope and specification in order to have a consistent basis for estimation and scheduling of the implementation.
• Liaise with the business units to shape and implement the demand management processes as well as the regular liaison / relationship management interactions.
• Prepare and maintain a Portfolio view and facilitate prioritization and scheduling decisions for System Enhancement requests in order to ensure optimal usage of the D&IT capacity.
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting of all D&IT demand related issues to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Develop KPIs for Demand Management as well as dashboards and regular reports to create transparency and tracking of change requests and projects.
• Create transparency about upcoming business initiatives, the current demand pipeline, the current D&IT change execution performance, capacity situation.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering or Economics
• Cyber security background/knowledge is an advantage
• Strong oral and verbal English knowledge
• At least 2 years working experience
• Experience in agile methodology, qualified in ITIL and project management methodology, SAFe is an advantage.
• Experience to manage technology projects and programs
• Experience in portfolio management, aligning and providing status/feedback
• Ability to support budget management
• Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies
• Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact at all levels, building and strengthening positive relationships at every touch point
