Description
Provide his knowledge for configurations and construction of Fixed Networks / FTTH Network .Is responsible for all aspect of OLT configuring /provisioning including network design and recommendation, dealing with software developing and management provisioning of MTA/CPE, integrates the provisioning with billing and OLT.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Take part in working groups for configurations and construction of Fixed Networks / FTTH Network .
• Responsible for OLT configurations and CPE activities. Installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining system functionality .
• Monitoring of provisioning system (U2000/NCE Server, CRM).
• Monitoring and managing the utilization, performance and capacity of Access/last mile infrastructures that include OLT uplinks and BNG .
• Follow the projects for Fixed Service Layers (BNG/CGNAT/Radius etc. )
• Participates in the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Fixed Network/FTTH network
• Complete all records and reports professionally according to company procedures and standards.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Good knowledge of Fixed Network services and products include FTTH Network /Routers and Switches configuration
• Knowledge of, software & best practices, on LAN Networks.
• High levels of self-motivation, energy and initiative
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team. Good time management skills are essential in order to achieve personal and team objectives and meet deadlines. Takes accountability for identifying & addressing service issues
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• University studies covering Telecommunication / IT sciences. Preferred Master Degree.
• Min 5 years’ experience in telecommunication Fixed Access Network is essential
• Telecommunication technology know-how varying from Network, Operations areas, latest technology developments.
• Knowledge of Fixed Network Products and Services currently in market (local/global )
