Field Operation and Maintenance Specialist

Purpose of Position: Responsible for planning, monitoring, operation and maintenance of all fiber optic network.
Responsible for the supervision of third party (Contractor) operations also.

Main Tasks:
  • Manages Checking and controlling Subcontractor Field Maintenance Teams, work quality, reporting standards, and other FO infrastructure criteria.
    Follow periodic reports on KPI-s and propose measures to be taken for network improvement;
  • Preparing reports with final goal improvement of FO BB network. (Investigation, verification of all "weak" points of infrastructure and FO cable itself and proposal how to improve them);
  • Utilization of all ODFs in Technology Rooms and register all local FO cables and update their utilization;
  • Keeping FO network availability over 99.5%;
  • Supporting GPON project implementations;
Education: University Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, IT, Civil Engineering or similar.

Experience: At least 3 years works experience at least one of them in telecommunication’s field.

Skills:
  • Very good knowledge in GIS, AutoCAD, MAPINFO systems, MS Office and other programs like, Google Earth,
  • Good orientation in terrain and mapping software (GIS),
  • Good knowledge of English Language, organizing and team work abilities, with initiative and decision maker,
    be able to learn fast and to adapt himself in every working environment.
