Mobile IP Core Senior Specialist
Purpose of Position: Design, implement and maintain the Mobile IP Core network.
Main Tasks:
[*=1]Support the implementation of new equipment along with the maintenance of existing systems in Mobile IP Core.
[*=1]Assist in the development and execution of plans for integration of network elements.
[*=1]Configure and install equipment in Mobile IP Core Network.
[*=1]Participate in network maintenance and system upgrades.
[*=1]Execute configuration changes in strong cooperation with Mobile IP Network team and change requesters.
[*=1]Prepare downtime and outage notifications and after-activity reports.
[*=1]Prepare and execute work orders.
[*=1]Performs periodical network audit in order to identify the potential design problems and recommend for fixes.
[*=1]Work with a team on an out-of-hours on-call support rota.
[*=1]Troubleshoot equipment and network problems, isolate them to minimize impacts. Proactively perform corrective maintenance for Mobile IP Core network.
[*=1]Work with vendors and service providers to implement new solutions and restore network devices and services.
[*=1]Ensure documentation, inventory, monitoring and configuration backup of the network devices.
[*=1]Transfer technical knowledge to team members.
[*=1]Other duties as per job responsibilities.
Experience: Minimum four (4) year work experience in Telecommunication and ISP area.
Required Skills:
Very good TCP/ IP networking skills.
Very good knowledge of IP Networks, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MPLS-TE, QoS and L2/L3 services.
Very good skills in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia ALU SR routers and Cisco switches/routers.
Very good Computer and MS office knowledge.
Very good knowledge of technical English.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language is a plus.
Familiarity with various operating systems and server platforms is a plus.
Very good knowledge of IP Networks, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MPLS-TE, QoS and L2/L3 services.
Very good skills in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia ALU SR routers and Cisco switches/routers.
Very good Computer and MS office knowledge.
Very good knowledge of technical English.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
