We are looking for SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR for our IT department
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Monitor SIEM and EDR systems
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls and backups
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
- Follow Group network policies, standards, procedures
- Create technical support documentation for systems and applications
- Proven experience as a System Administrator
- Experience with databases, virtualization (Citrix, VmWare) networks (LAN, WAN), patch management
- Experience with SIEM systems. Detect, analyze, and respond to security threats before they harm business operations
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Fluency in English
- 3 -5 years experience in a system administration role
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
- Working knowledge of virtualization, Citrix or VMWare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
