| Mission: | Review, monitor and update organization Risk Management Framework to ensure 360˚ review of business products and processes and compliance with regulation, group through best market practises: √ Collect, analyse, and report information on operational risk, and assist the lines of business by reviewing and maintaining key risk measurements system √ Assist line managers in maintaining risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) by reviewing reports, providing analysis, and reviewing assessments for accuracy √ Recommend risk mitigating controls and follow up on the implementation of planned control improvements √ Provide in depth data-based performance analysis and respective recommendations for improvement in all areas of business prioritized as per risk factors √ Monitor operational loss events and internal/external exam findings, work with line managers to identify root causes and develop action plans, and follow up on the implementation of action plans √ Coordinate risk review of outside service providers √ Coordinate with line of business and support function staff to ensure requirements related to compliance with Group and regulatory are met √ Organize and follows up Risk Management Committee meetings and decision making | |
| Outcomes: | Kredo Finance has established an appropriate credit risk environment, operating under a sound credit-granting process, maintaining an appropriate credit administration, measurement and monitoring process and ensuring adequate controls over risks.

| Competencies | √ Excellent analytical skills √ Strong MS Excel and Access skills √ Demonstrated ability to learn and understand various computer systems √ Excellent command of written and spoken English √ Team-player with excellent initiative and self-motivation √ Great organizational and problem-solving skills √ Ability to accept and follow direction; manage and coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced & deadline-driven environment √ Ability to work under pressure √ Willingness to accepting ownership and accountability of the process √ Ability to quickly learn complex business process and terminology. | |
| Main requirements | √ Degree in relevant field √ At least 3 years of experience in related positions. √ Experience in banking or microfinance industry is desired but not mandatory | |
