Description
The role is responsible to drive our TechComs transformation journey within Digital&IT domain. Furthermore it will establish and execute a portfolio framework to ensure projects are properly tracked and issues/risks are mitigated in an efficient manner. The role will also drive and be responsible for the delivery of strategically key projects.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Digital&IT Portfolio
• Prepare and align Technology roadmap and framework, support cross-technology roadmap planning and regular business reviews and statuses
• Cooperates with all technology department local&global regarding technical information gathering and roadmap alignment
• Govern implementation of IT strategy while including local and global stakeholder demands as well as alignment to financial and commercial plans
• Prioritize technology budget within given and agreed plans ensuring efficient use of resources in alignment with finance controlling
• Ensure Digital&IT strategy is in compliance with global technology guidance
• Ensure the production, measurement and achievement of key performance indicators to drive performance across Digital&IT
• Collaborate with Product Owners and IT development professionals, while managing across journey and technical dependencies to deliver value
• Support SAFe principles implementation across teams
• Mentor Agile, Lean, and DevOps best practices, embedding behaviors and principles driving a model of continuous delivery
Digital&IT Strategic project management:
• Define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution agile and SAFe
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Job Responsibility
Driving Transformation:
• Fosters a customer-focused approach and ensures effective team working; encouraging ownership and initiative as well as ensuring that lessons are learnt after failures.
• Look at best practice across global teams and the wider industry to leverage learnings
• Work with the other teams as appropriate to implement cost reduction initiatives
• Drive domain efficiency programs and further develop organizational excellence
• Challenge technology units and identify potentials for efficiency, and determine trade offs
• Conduct complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of both the external marketplace trends as well as existing internal processes to recommend and influence actional recommendations
• Support building a TechComs internal/externa brand, raise awareness and promote our Tech2025 strategy on all identified and agreed platforms.
• Supports building a learning organization to upskill/reskill our colleagues
• Build and execution engagement plan for Digital &IT domain, building on One Tech principles
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering or Economics
• Strong oral and verbal English knowledge
• At least 7 years working experience
• Experience in agile transformation, agile operating model, SAFe implementation is an advantage.
• Experience in digital transformation, technology innovation
• Proven experience to manage complex technology projects and programs
• Experience in portfolio management, aligning and providing status/feedback to C level executives
• Ability to support budget management
• Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner
• Fosters a strong team environment that promotes successful delivery in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies
• Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact at all levels, building and strengthening positive relationships at every touch point
• Displays Energy and passion to achieve and exceed stretching objectives often delivering within tight timescales
