Network Planning and Project Design Specialist

Purpose of Position: Designing (planner) cable networks with copper wire and optical fiber and updating in GIS all these networks with the most recent objects.

Main Tasks:
  • Manages FTTH Network planning and project design, using AutoCAD or MAPINFO;
  • Planning FO backbone and other local FO Networks and project designing it in an appropriate format like AutoCAD or MAPINFO;
  • Preparing the Cost estimation for any project design in any Network needed for One Albania;
  • Preparing/Updating the technical standards of One Albania fixed network, according to the approved rules and standards of Government entities and implementing international ones as well;
  • Surveying the field and planning FTTH or Cooper networks;
  • Updating in GIS, all implemented networks with the most recent objects;
  • Being part of Acceptance processes related to Fixed Network of One Albania, for any new/extension of that network;
Education: University Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, IT, Civil Engineering or similar.

Experience: At least 3 years works experience at least one of them in telecommunication’s field.

Skills:
  • Very good knowledge in GIS, AutoCAD, MAPINFO systems, MS Office and other programs like, Google Earth,
  • Good orientation in terrain and mapping software (GIS),
  • Good knowledge of English Language, organizing and team work abilities, with initiative and decision maker, be able to learn fast and to adapt himself in every working environment.
