Regulatory Sn. Expert
To be focus on regulatory aspects, relationship with authorities and personal data protection. To provide expert analysis in relation to regulatory matters including topics such as termination rates, access regulation, fix, OTT, broadband internet and spectrum. To support the Company in relation to market analyses, spectrum auctions, lobbying activities with the purpose of promoting the company’s interest and ensure compliance with the regulatory framework. To provide expertise in supporting the development of new products/services in the mobile and fix telephony and ensure compliance of organisation’ activities in relation to privacy and competition.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Ensure qualitative analysis and timely regulatory compliance which results in increased protection and higher revenues
• Nurture close relationships with authorities and relevant stakeholders in order to identify major regulatory risks and opportunities and ensure that the Company is leveraging the full benefit of Group expertise
• Provide guidance to the internal customers in delivering competitive products/services at minimum regulatory, privacy and competition risks.
• Act as Competition Officer for the Company and ensure competition culture compliance and awareness
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
• Strong ability to develop subject matter expertise, analytical thinking and a reputation as a regulatory expert who adds substantial value both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication’ skills to clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts, analysis and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent advocacy skills to promote the Company regulatory strategy and position.
• Aptitude for anticipating regulatory issues and driving forward initiatives to address them
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Degree in Law, Economics, or similar discipline
• Understanding of Regulation, Economics and Legal Principles
• Experience of working with regulatory authorities
